Streetcar Vote Today Finally...

Enquirer Article

This could be the day we finally hear some confirmative information from City Council. Keep your fingers crossed!

***Update***
Well, looks like they didn't vote on it after all! I don't know why they keep dragging their feet on this issue, but its getting pretty ridiculous. They said they only needed 2 more weeks to "come up with the language" necessary to get the streetcars in motion, but that was 4 weeks ago now! Come on City Council, lets get something done with this!
Remember to write your council members reminding them that you want to see results now. See my post below for the council members email addresses.

ahhhhhhhhh this is getting out of hand. This is not a project that they can sit on for a year or two. The success of so many projects and businesses hinges on this decision. Investors will not wait much longer and people will purchase and move else where. Come on City Council!

The word on the urbanohio.com forum is that the Finance Committee is going to vote on this Wednesday at 9AM, and if it passes, it will go in front of the full City Council later that afternoon. Will it get postponed yet again? Time will tell...

I'm going to be keeping my fingers crossed until then.

Just FYI, the reason for the delay is so that the administration (Mallory) can get its own motion before council. We shall see where this all goes.
